History

1942 (April) Established Kyoei Mokkosho in Shioya Village, Hidaka District, Wakayama (currently, Gobo, Wakayama) and began wooden drum manufacturing
1948 (June) Became a limited company and changed our name to Chuki Mokuzai Co., Ltd.
1953 (August) Relocated the factory to Izuo Kitamura Town, Taisho Ward, Osaka City and continued our operations there.
1954 (December) Transferred to the current location (Suminoe Ward, Osaka City) due to urban planning.
1965 (October) Established Taihei Drum Kogyo (Taihei Drum Industry) Co., Ltd. in Daito City, Osaka Prefecture.
1968 (July) Established the Yokohama factories of Chuki Mokuzai Co., Ltd. and Taihei Drum Kogyo (Taihei Drum Industry) Co., Ltd. in Yokohama City at the same time.
1981 (July) Chuki Mokuzai Co., Ltd. and Taihei Drum Kogyo (Taihei Drum Industry) Co., Ltd. merged and changed its name to Taiki Industry Co., Ltd.
1985 (January) Built the Toyama factory in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
1988 (August) Bought a sawmill in British Columbia, Canada called Meadow Creek Cedar Ltd.
1989 (October) Opened the Tokyo business office in Tomioka, Koto Ward, Tokyo.
2005 (June) Closed the Tokyo business office and transferred its operations to the Yokohama factory.
2005 (September) Sold Meadou Creek Codar Ltd.
2023(June) Closed the Toyama factory.
